Bernardino Blue (Euphilotes bernardino)
Description:
Females have one orange band on each wing. Most commonly found during February-August. Looks similar to the Acmon Blue (Plebejus acmon). Foundflying around Chollas Lake (32.737368, -117.059098) during mid-February. This observation is part of the High Tech High Insects of San Diego Field Guide.
