Pileus up to 15 cm (6 inch) wide. Very characteristic pleasant smell. Hard corky trama. SP very faint, color indistinctive, whitish-grayish. Spore dimensions: Smooth, 9.0 (SD = 0.7) x 3.2 (SD = 0.3) micr., Q = 2,76 (SD = 0.24), n = 30. Motic B2-211A, magnification 1.000 x, oil, in water.
