Description:

Petalonyx parryi Gray. Another common name is Parry's sandpaper. These plants were in the path of a bulldozer.May 2, 2004, Washington Co., Utah, approx. 2700 ft. elev. gypsum outcrop (species is a gypsophile), Silver Falls subdivision, approx. 2 miles south/southeast of the town of Washington. Shinob Kibe is at the upper left.An increasingly Utah rare plant species.
