APOCYNACEAE - Yellow Oleander (Thevetia peruviana)

Description:
Native to Mexico and Central America, this plant contains a milky sap containing a compound called Thevetin that is used ad a heart stimulant but in its natural form is extremely poisonous. This photo was taken by the road side near Mayfair Garden, Tsing Yi, Hong Kong.
