Mom Che Puteh's Garden, Alor Setar, Kedah, Malaysia.Pteris ensiformis Burm. f. Pteridaceae. CN: [Malay - Paku pecut, Paku murai], Slender brake, Sword brake, Silver lace fern, Victoria fern. Native of China, Japan, Sri Lanka, Indo-China, Malesia ecozone [Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia (Queensland)]. Mostly cultivated as ornamental. Widespread terrestrial herb; bipinnate leaves, long, narrow; clustered and spreading by runners. Habitat partially shaded conditions in the lowlands and highlands.
