Description:
Native in Brazil, Panama, Guatemala this plant is now widely cultivated in the tropics and sub-tropics. The flowers are commonly used to make garlands since they retain their shape and color after drying. Also, they are used in Traditional Chinese Medicine as herb to cure headache caused by high blood pressure. This photo was taken in Mayfair Garden, Tsing Yi, Hong Kong.
