Pleurotus purpureo-olivaceus
Description:
Photographed in Mt Field National Park, along the Russell and Horseshoe Falls track. Photo by my husband, Chris Ryan. This is a wild guess! Cymatoderma elegans? But then, it looks like it has gills... I have a feeling that I'm waaaaay off track with this one!The fungus had been broken apart by something. The other piece was lying not far away on the log.IDENTIFYING AUSTRALIAN RAINFOREST PLANTS,TREES & FUNGI - Flick Group --> DATABASE INDEX - TAGS
