This oystercatcher was guarding a nest - the area was roped off, and if I went too close it acted distressed. I didn't want to cause any more distress, so I didn't attempt to view or photograph the nest.

Not 100% site its a black stilt as its legs are orange unlike the photo on the website. Its my closest guess though.
