"Golden-Mantled Ground Squirrel standing up on its hind legs, surrounded by rocks. Picture taken at the surroundings of Estes Park, Colorado, USA, where the Rocky Mountain National Park is located. According to the website for the Rocky Mountain National Park Service, ""This ground squirrel is often mistaken for a chipmunk because of its resemblance. However, it is larger and has no stripes on its head. The tail is also shorter. On its neck and shoulders is a russet to golden 'mantle.' It also has cheek pouches for carrying food."" ( http://www.nps.gov/romo/learn/nature/squirrel_chipmunk.htm ) They are very fast moving, which makes it a bit challenging to capture them in a picture without getting it blurred."
