Road cruised sub-adult Male; elevation 2375.33 feet; moon waning crescent; sky condition overcast; pressure 30.05 inHg; humidity 88 percent. I was not expecting to see any active lizards as it was 73 degrees and overcast. I saw a small brown spot in the road which turned out to be this lizard. He attempted to run just as we reached him and I inadvertently ran him over. I salvaged him and deposited him with the Texas Natural History Collections at University of Texas--Austin.
