There were two male western fence lizards fighting and then this collared lizard came by interrupting the fight. It then attacked one of the fence lizards and bit off the fence lizards tail and chased the fence lizard up into a bush.

Found on the dirt road (off road) up to Ord Mountain. Close to the locked gate to get up onto the mountain.

Individual licked noose while catching it.

This lizard was on the Split Rock Loop Trail in Joshua Tree National Park.

Found basking on a rock at Ord Mountain desert sky island study sight and captured by fishing pole and noose. Lat: 34 40 34.7 Lon: 116 48 43.1
