Elizabeth and I ended the day at the magnificent Acton Nature Center -- this is such a great place. If you haven't been, you should go. :)

Tonight I presented to the Rio Brazos Master Naturalists on citizen science and iNaturalist -- I came a bit early to explore some of Cleburne State Park too. Can't wait for the iNat field trip on August 20 at Acton Nature Center! :)

I found this very teneral female Checkered Setwing having just emerged. It was drying its wings in the grass. The exuviae from which it probably emerged is also visible.
