The most common (and adorable) frog in Oregon. It put me in mind more of our Gray Treefrog (Hyla versicolor) rather than our Spring Peeper (the Pseudacris species we have here in the East). Probably because of its size. - Opal creek Wilderness (near Jawbone Flats), Oregon, USA
A friend stumbled across this frog near an ephemeral pond and, lacking camera, I captured it for some photos. I hear these all the time--they call a bit in fall, and then are a din in spring--but I have had little luck sneaking up on calling males.-Animal Diversity Web--Pseudacris crucifer
