The flock first perched over on 3rd street: http://www.inaturalist.org/observations/2355464 Then flew over to 7th st: http://www.inaturalist.org/observations/2412937 Then they seemed to end up roosting in this area as it got dark.

At least 100-120 Red-crowned parrots. They were seen perching on several nogales (walnut trees) around the area, an avocado tree, fresno, palm tree, ebano, and several citrus trees . Other trees I couldn't identify. All located 1-2 blocks away from each other. Winds: 6mph SE 76-78 degrees F Cloud Cover 100% Humidity 83% Time 8:00-9:00 am

Feeding flock moving through neighborhood at Lafayette Ave and B Street. Very loud. 150

Less than 100 parrots were gathered on the high lines along 7th Street in Harlingen. They were across from the Calvary Baptist Church parking lot. Within moments, the flock increased in size and the final count at 17:35 was 271.
