Summary[edit] Description: The Giant Caribbean Anemone (Condylactis gigantea) comes in a wide variety of different colors. However, this one in Bonaire (Netherland Antilles) kind of stood out from the rest! Pink is a nice color, don't ya' think? This creature is not particularly harmful, but has been known to cause minor irritation to some people. I guess we have something in common. 0). Date: 15 March 2006, 23:23. -**Corrected to Sunburst Anemone (Anthopleura sola)**- Some Sunburst Anemone's can be pretty green and are easlily confused with Giant Green Anemone. The bright green can be attributed to green pigment in the anemone epidermis and to symbiotic algae that live in the tissues that line the gut.
