I thought perhaps that this was one splitting in two. They both appear to be the same type, except the one on the left has larger tentacles and the one on the right has more tentacles. And their bases are far apart. So perhaps two which have stuck to each others adhesive column spots???

First time I have seen an anemone that has such a strong red inside. Growing in a rock pool in the mid intertidal zone. This one was approx 30mm across. Do not have a clue which species but looking at the guide I am wondering if it may be Diadumene neozelanica - what do you think @tony_wills? :) The location name is not accurate - Reason
