Description: When I arrived at Higher Hyde this afternoon I drove into the car park to be greeted by the sight of ( I guess 100+ ) butterflies rising from the warm gravel of the car park and flying around my car. They were sunning themselves and had to move out of my way - it was amazing and something I have never experienced before. This small tortoiseshell is sunning itself on some interesting old concrete.
