Had a BLAST doing some blacklighting with some serious moth-ers. :) Special thanks to Francisco with Ashgrove for getting us special access to this location. It was great. :) I'm just uploading these quickly now, but I'll work on the ID's later.

I spotted a couple of males chasing each other and half my photos were not in good focus thanks to the inconsistent auto-focus on my Nikon P520. I'm not sure if these are the same individual, but at least they were in close proximity.

Elizabeth went to a brand new quilt store in Sanger, so I stopped by this park close to the interstate.

"Went up to this park up in Richardson -- they are trying to be proactive to folks overfeeding the ducks at ""Duck Creek Linear Park."" There's indeed a large population of ducks, but there's a lot of lovely vegetation all along the creek too. That's good! :) Spotted lots of other things along with ducks too. :)"

Had a really nice morning with some park planners and landscape architects -- this spot will be a future nature park! I did a little habitat assessment of this cross timbers remnant -- it should be a great place for future naturalists to explore. :)
