Flowers 6-8mm across, greenish white in short axillary cymes. Fruits 3-5cm across, globose, orrange-yellow, pericarp hard and thick. Seeds 1.5-2cm, globose, compressed, ashy-grey. Bark, and seed are used as fish poison. Seeds are used in ulcers and dysentry in very small quantities.. It is a poisonous tree.
