Vachellia nilotica (commonly known as gum arabic tree, babul, thorn mimosa, Egyptian acacia or thorny acacia) is a Larval Host Plant of Azanus ubaldus – Bright Babul Blue, Azanus uranus – Dull Babul Blue etc. It is a flowering plant tree in the family Fabaceae. It is native to Africa, the Middle East and the Indian subcontinent.
