I think this is the skeleton/skin of a western ribbon snake... Perhaps caught by raccoon?

Small ribbon snake (1.5 ft) found in the lobby of the Brazos River Authority. The surrounding property was being mowed at the time, so it is possible the snake entered the building to escape the commotion of the mowers. The snake was released outside the building since the mowing was complete.

Found recently dead on ledge between house and small pond. Was upside down. When I turned it over it appeared to have 1-3 small head punctures. Would another snake be the likely attacker?
