Small ribbon snake (1.5 ft) found in the lobby of the Brazos River Authority. The surrounding property was being mowed at the time, so it is possible the snake entered the building to escape the commotion of the mowers. The snake was released outside the building since the mowing was complete.

Found recently dead on ledge between house and small pond. Was upside down. When I turned it over it appeared to have 1-3 small head punctures. Would another snake be the likely attacker?

"""Olive brown dorsal with a gold stripe"" from Peterson, plus the range here indicates Gulf Coast ssp. This snake was photographed within a few feet of my last Gastrophryne audio recording. I have little doubt that he too was listening intently to their calls and trying to find them. Photo courtesy Miriam Reyes."
