The poor thing was laying eggs (but they were stuck somehow), no male around, in a very small basin, initially used for trouts. Water gauge was only about 15cm and exposed to the sun all day. She was bloated and couldn't move much. Anyone knows what kind of illness this is? I saw it in captive frogs (illness: Hydrops) when they had a lack of vitamins. I am worried about the population since there are many ponds around...hope someone can help!

Found this and a smaller one trapped in a hole in the ground
-
found next to a pond in the forest (it may be a Rana dalmatina, they seem to have disappeared since the 70s in Luxembourg, but it is hard to differentieate between dalmatina and temporaria, is someone can help me to learn it I would be very happy)

I am not sure about the ID, it seems quite big for a Rana tadpole?
