This is a sequel to the observation of 2016/06/06. The larvae just start to develop yellow spots. One of them tried to feed on a drowned object (caterpillar?) but wasn't quite successfull. Added 2 pics of 08/13: The caterpillar(?) still seems to be intact.

Still a larva, but much further developped than those in the pool in front of the spring at Obergrombach (see my obs of June 6 and August 11). Possibly the water in this stagnant pool is much warmer. (Just when I had spotted it, it disappeared in the murky water. I had to wait about 30 min before it resurfaced.)
