I believe this is a Gilbert skink, based on there being no stripes on the sides of the tail. I did flip other western skinks at this location so not 100% sure, can anyone confirm?

My dad found it at a house we were working on in Woodbridge. It was a juvenile. It died about a block away from our house. It was sad because I was hoping to release in my yard where there was another western skink.
