Headed down to Mo Ranch in Hunt, Texas for a Texas Parks and Wildlife meeting for a few days. It included lots of meetings, but of course, we went outside some too. :) Had a BLAST again on the second night of moth-ing with @benhutchins @cullen @jsinghurst and @annastrong ! Again, I'll have to devote some good time to figuring out the ID's of many of these... So, stay tuned! :)

There were a pair of these on my apple tree.

Braconid wasps laid eggs in the caterpillar. Wasp larvae drank its blood, emerged from it (the black dots are holes where they emerged), and made a stack of cocoons. The caterpillar will soon die.

Feeding on a rose bush. I am uncertain of identity. My field guide says S. unicornis has a lime green patch where this specimen is brown....
