The Australasian flying fish, Cheilopogon pinnatibarbatus melanocercus, is a subspecies of flyingfish of the family Exocoetidae, found off New South Wales of Australia, and around New Zealand, in surface waters. Its length is up to 45 cm.
Cirrhilabrus jordani, also known as the flame wrasse, is a member of the Wrasse family that is endemic to the Hawaiian islands. It occasionally makes its way into the aquarium trade.
This is a male cabezon--females generally are green. Cabezon lack scales and have skin flaps over their snout and eyes. They often take shelled animals such as crabs, abalone and other snails but also squid, octopus, and fish. Depth 20 m.
