A woody, erect, annual herb grows to 0.21.5 m high. Found along drainage lines, roadsides and disturbed habitats. Seeds are dispersed by adhering to clothes and animal fur.Economic significance: Minor weed. This weed will out-compete native species on exposed and re-vegetation sites. Strong allelopathic influences which suppress germination and seedling growth of a number of crops.
