Summary[edit] Description: Native, yearlong-green, perennial, low-growing herb. Leaves are ovate to elliptical, 5-20 mm long and hairless (except for midrib). Flowerheads are racemes (1-3 cm long), with mauve to purple flowers that have 2 lateral wings and a finger-like fringe at the apex. Flowering is year-round, but mostly in spring. Found in hillslope grasslands, woodlands and forests where there are low inputs. Native biodiversity. No information is available, but it is very easily overlooked in pastures.
