Summary[edit] Description: Although found in eastern Montana, this species (and genus and family) does not occur within the sagebrush steppe. It is, however, common along the grassy regularly disturbed roadsides that bisect stands of Wyoming big sagebrush steppe in eastern Montana. This perennial species has alternate lower stem leaves.
