Branch of Crystal Creek, San Jacinto drainage. Pool below road held Many U. tetralasmus juveniles, Leptodea fragilis juveniles, and a few Toxolasma texasense adults.

Wow! doing another happy dance. The first semi-fresh freshwater mussel shell I have found around the stock tank in ages. When we had the tank built in early 90's, shells and raccoon tracks would line the border of the water. We had had several severe droughts and flooding incidents since then. I think the drought of 2011 had a major impact. It has been so long, I have forgotten the views needed for an identification.
