These two Cackling Geese were among the thousands of waterfowl that winter every year at the Colusa National Wildlife Refuge.

There are roughly 400 Canada Geese that frequent Lake Runnemeade during the fall migration, and for at least 2 years there have been a few Cackling Geese amongst the flocks.
