Probably Richardson's. Smaller than Canada Geese with a grayer back and a shorter bill.
-
Less block-headed than a typical Richardson's, so possibly a Taverner's Cackling Goose.

With a Canada Goose on the left for comparison .

Another anomaly. Rare to this County.

These four had very pale breasts (and no white neck-rings, but that's variable)?? I definitely need help with the 9 observations from this flock! Trying to sort out subspecies if possible. (>200) of mixed Canada and Cackling Goose - note early hour, low stratus lighting and steady drizzle. :-)

With one Canada Goose. Any thoughts on subspecies most welcome if possible, this trip to Vancouver Island was very confusing as I tried to learn to distinguish them.

3 Cackling Geese feeding on grass among a large flock of much larger Canada Geese.
