Bird peering down at me, not a usual point of view, but I think it is a grey warbler. Zooming in on the photo you can see fine whiskers at the base of the beak, don't remember that being a feature of grey warblers though.

Two individuals (Pair ?) working over a silver birch. Probably have to take my word on this as it's an awful photo.

Found the nest on the ground, and lifted it up to photograph. Birds long gone.

At least 2 Grey Warblers in amongst a Magnolia tree. They were not eating the flowers produced by the tree so they may have been interested in the surrounding insects or maybe even looking for suitable place to build a nest.

The little grey warbler seems to hang in there everywhere.
