Locality: NEW ZEALAND AK, suburb of Saint Johns, University of Auckland Tamaki Campus. Habitat: Active on vegetation in a native planted area. Identification: Parentia anomalicosta Bickel, 1992. Male. ID based on original reference, but note that fig. 10 therein shows the hypopygium of P. anomalicosta, not P. aotearoa! I have no reservations regarding my ID. NOTE: This is my first recorded observation of this species from the Tamaki Campus, but probably only because I have ignored/overlooked it until now.
