How wonderful to be welcomed back into the moana that I know and love by being greeted by junvenile seahares ranging in size from 1 - 5cm. The blue dots can be seen clearly on these which I never saw on the adults, as their papillae (cha! fancy word for seaweed looking stuff on their body) was too thick to see through! I had watched over summer as the adults arrived, mated, spawned and died and now the juviniles are starting the cycle again.

Time in the water would not be complete without spotting one of these! @rongoa these were hanging out in the lagoon and far smaller than the ones we spotted last time in their usual spot! About 1 - 2cm only and there were heaps of them! Really tricky walking there as the chances are you would stand on one. Living in the intertidal zone of the lagoon.
