Night snake encountered just after dusk out active on surface along a Devils River bedrock terrace. Sparse vegetation nearby consisting of Tamaulipan Thornscrub shrub species, some loose surface rocks and boulders, but primarily barren limestone rock cliffs, fissures, and horizontal bedrock. Caught by Cherish Park (student of UT BIOL 455L, Spring 2014 class, T. Devitt UT faculty). Photographed and released.
