Also known as the Camberwell Beauty. I managed to get this shot right as it was flying away. Unfortunately there was a small branch in the way. This is a Camberwell Beauty if you are British . A sign of early spring , they come out of hibernation on warm days . I saw my first one as a road kill in Minnesota before I was eight years old and I still remember it fairly clearly .
