On a walking track from Bamfield to the western bay. It is a millipede, c. 5-6cm long. It seems fairly distinctive so hope it can be identified.

Found under a rotting log in a thick bed of damp Redwood duff. When handled it gave off the distinctive odor of bitter almonds.
