Male; ~18mm forewing length

attracted to white sheet with a light at night. Shot taken early in the morning while still mostly dark. The greenish cast on some images an artifact of the light used to attract the insects.

Pretty cool!! Not many like this around up here. I think it's either Dasychira basiflava or D. Obliquata. About 3 cm long, lovely banded legs. Coming into black light, took these photos the next morning. Vertical black lines suggest obliquata, but dark PM line makes me think basiflava. Edge of mixed forest. Thanks for any help!!

under burlap band on oak tree

I noticed an amazing number of these tussock moth caterpillars on oak foliage and under the burlap bands I was checking.
