The poster uses a combination of engravings and photolithographs, and shows portraits of the performer Gertrude Emery, two acrobats, Will and Chas Ridgway, and W Cole, with engravings of a lady juggler standing on horseback, various horse and chariot teams, performing acrobatic dogs, and a pair of clowns Doyle & Dinny.
