Spotted while snorkeling in ~2 feet (60 cm) depth of swift flowing water.

I am not sure if I should post this because of the poor quality of the photo. I saw the fish hiding under a strand of algae in a riffle. It looked like a logperch, and the bands look like Texas Logperch.

"After our tour of Palo Pinto Mountains State Park, Elizabeth, Brent, Stalin, and I went to this little spillway and explored some more. :) I think these are ""darters"" but I just couldn't catch any of them... They were fast or smart, or both!"
