Along the stretch of pathway by the Bluebonnet and wildflower area there is a few trees by a Trash can. Nearly every time I pass here I see these weird looking bugs. They are very interesting to watch and today spring fever hit a couple of them. There were some just answering nature's call to breed but some were trying to cut in while some were in the marriage process. There were some that were alone and not all crazy. These insects are black, with red parts, and red eyes. They are very interesting. I have seen most of the stages of these insects. Some that I have seen prior to this date were in the nymph stage. These guys seem to always be in this stretch of road. They are fascinating insects. I want to say they are Boxelder Bugs but I think that is wrong but they are in that family of insect.

As I was strolling through this park close to my home, I came across a part of the park were it has a pathway that goes up a steep hill. As i was crossing through, I came across these little insects that were all over the pathway. Each varying in size and form, yet all the same. These bugs were about the size of a grasshopper. Their bodies were black, yet there back area had red on it. They have wings along with antennas.
