More than 250 mm this Clitocybe nebularis, Syn Lepista nebularis (GB= Clouded Funnel, Syn. Clouded Agaric, D= Nebelgrauer Trichterling, Syn. Nebelkappe, F= Clitocybe nébuleux, NL= Nevelzwam), white spores. A very common mushroom, but mostly not larger than 150 mm!

This beautiful and little-noticed fungus grows each year on the mossy tops of the walls. These photos were taken on 27-Nov-2014 in Ipswich, East Suffolk (VC25, TM167451).
Largest mushroom in North America and one of the largest gilled mushrooms worldwide. Found from Florida to Central America, and reported from northeastern Brazil.
Known as the Trooping Funnel or as Monk's Head, this species may well become Infundibulicybe geotropa. This is a frozen specimen from the Squamish--Cheakamus Divide, British Columbia.
