Found at dusk near home in arid rural subdivision, approximately 110 meters elevation and approximately 1000 meters from shoreline.

Another observation from Devin. Caught by hand. The photos are not perfect, but seem to show the curved line on the side and the two small lines in the middle. Devin has saved the sample (dry).

Hiding in a box in my carport. We are about 3 weeks after the start of rains after a dry spell of almost 3 months.

Located in dry stream bed with keawe trees and buffle grass, approximately 500 meters from nearest residence. The markings are somewhat indistinct, but it definitely has two small white bars on the sides of the thorax.

Aegypti are more common here than they were in November, perhaps because of the long drought that ended a month ago. Took several photos experimenting with new smartphone lens setup that has an LED. Trying to get shots of the face, abdomen, sides, etc. Capture method: net Transferred to jar and frozen to kill. Some scales rubbed off on the scutum.

Captured by net and frozen. Most of the scales are rubbed off but can still faintly see the lines on the scutum, and also can see the face markings.
