First record of the Visor bat Sphaeronycteris toxophyllum (Peters, 1882) for the Boyacá, Colombia. S. toxophyllum is characterized for having a nasal sheet enlarged in the shape of U. It is taxonomically related to Centurio senex, but this one lacks nasal sheet and its face is covered by intricate excrescences.
