Turtle was caught on trotline, so it was immediately taken to the bank to see if hook removal was possible. Luckily, the hook came out fairly easy, as it was only stuck in the hard beak. Since I always have a camera with me, I snapped a few pictures and it was released back into the river.

This Alligator Snapper was going to be eaten by some fishermen who caught it until me and a friend talked them into letting us release it. It was caught in DeValls Bluff but was released in a reservoir on Yoder Road located in Almyra, Arkansas.
