Carrion beetle, maybe 2 cm long. N orbicollis I think. Very similar to N. sayi, but the antennae of N. sayi are orange clubs, whereas N. orbicollis antennae are black with orange tips. Regularly attracted to light. Used Evans' Beetles of North America as a reference (awesome book).

Care to identify those parasites?

Found on the trail in the woods close to the beaver lodge. It was on top of a dead frog.
