""" Elongate, narrow fingers on the pedipalp chela terminate in a pronounced tooth."" -Solpugid.com The ""fingers"" on this little scorpion are long and narrow, and the ""tooth"" is (just barely) apparent, at least in one of the photos."

I found 2 of these guys today. It was pretty awesome to be honest! I've always heard that scorpions lived in the Sierras but never got to witness it myself until today. This guy was pretty docile. It was just crawling around my hand with no worries.
-
Now finding one scorpion in the Sierras for the first time was cool enough for me but finding 2 in the same day in 2 different counties! That was just the coolest thing to me. This was the second individual and was a little more aggressive hence why I was holding his stinger(don't worry I was only applying light pressure and the scorpion was returned unharmed back where I found it).
