this was an El Nino year and the Fall had been very mild, although there was ice and frost this morning. The late date for this species in northeast Ohio is Nov 30th. There were 4 or more seen here today all after it had warmed up.

Male. @nbdragonflyguy - This was taken half an hour before the female in the same location (which you can see the proof of in the picture). So I guess this guy is technically the first. ;-)
